WHY I WORK IN REAL ESTATE
I didn’t consider a career in real estate until I purchased my third home in 2005. It was my first new home build, from choosing the location and lot and visiting the site nearly every day watching the construction in progress. It was an exciting time and a frustrating time as well, having to speak to the builder a couple of times a week regarding construction and quality issues.
Watching the neighborhood grow from ours—the eighth home to a total of 171 homes, I saw the development of a community. It was something I wanted to be a part of—an agent in the forward movement of a place people choose to call home.
Moving forward a year and I had studied for and obtained my real estate license and have been fortunate to earn the trust of people making big life changes and decisions. Each family is unique and it’s an honor to be a trusted advisor with their home and property decisions.
MY LIFE BEFORE REAL ESTATE
I was employed in the printing industry in Houston for most of my adult life—having worked for leading printing companies in sales, customer service and prepress. The last 15 years I was heavily involved in color correction and retouching projects with clients including museums, universities, sports teams and real estate developers. This was a great prelude to marketing real estate, giving me a keen eye for detail and presentation – two areas truly needed to present your property in the best light.
I’ve lived here in League City with my wife, Shannon, a cat and two overprotective dogs since 2005.
We resided in Friendswood before buying a home here in League City. .
Our children have grown and moved on and now we enjoy our grandchildren!
I also enjoy working in my yard in the spring and fall, playing guitar and a Carribbean trip or cruise nearly every year.
